How scoring works

A score from 15 to 100, based on how many barriers were found, how severe they are, and how much of the page they affect. The same formula Flow uses.

  • Below 50: barriers across the page
  • 50 to 89: barriers in places
  • 90 and above: no automated failures of consequence

A single critical or serious barrier caps a page at 70: one unusable control is not an A-grade page however much else passes.

Results are cached for 24 hours per address and kept for 30 days. Automated checks cover roughly one third of WCAG success criteria and have no legal authority.
