Install the Latchkey widget on Webflow
Snippet install
Install
Step 1: Install the Latchkey app
Or, without the app: Site settings → Custom code → Footer code.
Step 2: Publish the site
We verify our block survived the publish and re-apply it if not. The panel shows the verified state, not the last intended state.
Step 3: Sign in to Latchkey, or create an account
Inside the app where the platform provides one, or in a new window where it does not. One installation belongs to exactly one Latchkey account.
Domains
Step 4: Check the domains we registered
We read every domain the platform knows about and register all of them, keeping the platform-assigned address alongside your custom one. Staging and preview hostnames are free. Confirm the list looks right — a mistake here is visible now rather than as a widget that refuses to load later.
Trial
Step 5: Start your trial
Seven days, no card. A domain gets one trial ever, so if this site has already had one you will be asked to choose a plan instead — and if it already holds a licence, we link to it rather than charging you twice.
Plan
Step 6: Choose a plan
Plans are priced by monthly visits. We measure traffic with the widget’s own beacon after the first month and show you that data before any change to your plan.
Customise
Step 7: Customise the interface
Colours, position, language, the components you want hidden, and your accessibility statement. Publishing writes a new configuration version, so any change is reversible.
